Lost Pond shelter located in Bennington, Vermont . I did a lot of research for this logo, and I was hoping to find an article on something that the hikers lost along the AT. Only article I did find was how much weight one hiker lost. 

My reasoning behind this logo is that I wanted to use binoculars. I always thought when you had the binoculars and you got to the highest point you could see where you could end up.  I incorporated the water and fish elements to represent the pond. And there are large and small mouth bass, sunfish, and blue gills are found in the founds along the AT.
